Inspired by an exhibition call with the feel good theme. I love rainbows so matching and playing with threads across the rainbow spectrum was the original challenge then stitching to embellish the lace followed. A mix of 3D stitching and sequins have been used to highlight the blocks in the lace.
Wall hanging of contemporary handmade bobbin lace embellished with embroidery 14 × 17cm.
