Inspired by an old exhibition call and the desire to play more with rainbow colour schemes and see what could be done. I love rainbows so matching and playing with threads across the rainbow spectrum was the original challenge then stitching to embellish the lace followed. A mix of 3D stitching and sequins have been used to highlight the blocks in the lace. The piece has been mounted on black with a black frame.
